The Sea of Monsters Audiobook free is a fantasy-adventure audiobook based on Greek mythology written by Rick Riordan published in 2006. It is the second audiobook in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians audiobook series and the sequel to The Lightning Thief Audiobook.

This audiobook chronicles the adventures of thirteen-year-old demigod Percy Jackson as he and his friends rescue his satyr friend Grover from the Cyclops Polyphemus and save the camp from a Titan’s attack by bringing the Golden Fleece to cure Thalia’s poisoned pine tree.

This audiobook was generally well–received and was nominated for numerous awards, including the 2006 Book Sense Top Ten Summer Pick and the 2009 Mark Twain Award. It sold over 100,000 copies in paperback with over one million copies total and was released in audiobook format on September 6, 2006.

The Sea of Monsters audiobook Mp3 is followed by The Titan’s Curse audiobook, the third book of the five in the series. A film adaptation of the audiobook, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, was released on August 7, 2013.

The plot of summary

After a year spent trying to prevent a catastrophic war among the Greek gods, Percy Jackson finds his seventh-grade school year unnervingly quiet. His biggest problem is dealing with his new friend, Tyson – a six-foot-three, mentally challenged homeless kid who follows Percy everywhere, making it hard for Percy to have any “normal” friends.

But things don’t stay quiet for long. Percy soon discovers there is trouble at Camp Half-Blood: The magical borders which protect Half-Blood Hill have been poisoned by a mysterious enemy, and the only safe haven for demigods is on the verge of being overrun by mythological monsters. To save the camp, Percy needs the help of his best friend, Grover, who has been taken prisoner by the Cyclops Polyphemus on an island somewhere in the Sea of Monsters – the dangerous waters Greek heroes have sailed for.
