Death Weavers Audiobook is the 4th installment of the wonderful Five Kingdoms Audiobook series by best-selling author Brandon MullBrandon Mull. Its events are set mainly in the echolands and partially in the kingdom of Necronum. Trapped in a world where magic is powerful and dreams are real, Cole’s epic adventure continues in this great book.
Death Weavers is a little dark and creepy, but what else can be expected. Not only do they have to deal with dead people and people who can tell the future, but they have to go into the realm of the dead. So let’s put in a couple of bantering heroes to lighten things up.
If you like Fablehaven, the Percy Jackson Series, or even the Maze Runner series, this series will most likely appeal to you.
Plot Summary
Cole is about to face his biggest peril yet.
Since arriving in the Outskirts, Cole and his friends have fought monsters, challenged knights, and battled rampaging robots. But none of that has prepared them for Necronum.
In this haunting kingdom, it’s hard to tell the living from the dead, and secret pacts carry terrifying risks. Within Necronum lies the echolands, a waystation for the departed where the living seldom venture.
Still separated from his power, Cole must cross to the echolands and rely on his instincts to help rescue his friends. With enemies closing in, Cole risks losing everything to find the one thing that might save them.
Author and Narrator
About the author: Brandon Mull is the author of the New York Times, USA TODAY, and Wall Street Journal bestselling Beyonders and Fablehaven series, as well as the bestselling Five Kingdoms, Candy Shop Wars, and Dragonwatch series.
He resides in Utah, in a happy little valley near the mouth of a canyon. Brandon’s greatest regret is that he has but one life to give to Gondor.
About the narrator: Keith Nobbs is an American television, stage, and film actor. Nobbs is famously known for starring on Joey Ice Cream in the TV series The Black Donnellys.
Nobbs has narrated many books like The Lacrosse Mix-Up, The Hockey Rink Hunt, The Soccer Secret, The Football Fiasco, and many others. All these books are from different authors. Nevertheless, he also released audios. This is also part of his career.
Audiobook Review
Brandon Mull continues to amaze me with his vibrant imagination. Death Weavers Audiobook mp3 ups his game with arguably the best and strongest audiobook in the series. As usual, Mull is quite innovative when it comes to twisting up the typical fantasy tropes and making them into his own creations, giving us some of the most unique places in the five kingdoms yet.
The way he developed Cole’s character is fantastic. We are introduced to new and fascinating characters and much to my delight, two of my favorite characters from The Beyonders make an appearance and play an important role in Cole’s journey. I literally jumped off the couch when I saw their names.
About the story, the adventures have shifted from elements of straight fantasy to high-tech science and now to a setting that would be appropriate in a true horror setting all wrapped around magic and the inherent talents and abilities of the young main characters that Mull specializes in.
About the narration, Kieth Nobbs did an amazing job as the narrator. He is the best narrator I have personally listened to! His voices helped me distinguish character, create mood, and even better help deliver the story.
Five Kingdoms series has fast become one of my favorites from Brandon Mull. Again that’s just nitpicking overall it’s still an awesome highly enjoyable series can’t wait for audiobook 5 – Time Jumpers.
